Serving Our Nation - Episode 18

Serving Our Nation offers hope in the darkness through guests each week who demonstrate servant leadership. In Episode 18, Rev. Dr. Paul McCullough had the honor of interviewing two very special people in honor of Father’s Day. In the first half, Paul talked to Mr. Al Lambert, the cousin of Fr. Vincent Capodanno, who was posthumously awarded the Medal of Honor and is a candidate for canonization by the Catholic Church. Mr. Lambert shared about how Fr. Capodanno lived his life and why he became known as The Grunt Padre. In the second half of the program, Chaplain (Colonel-Retired) Gordon Groseclose explained how two traumatic events in his life helped him to focus his time and attention towards God and his family, making him who he is today. Their wonderful stories will make you want to get to know your local priest (Father), as well as have a deeper relationship with your Dad.
